Coronavirus-7 things to do differently

Coronavirus-7 things to do differently

Here are 7 things we can do differently to contain the spread of Coronavirus as it affects our community

Boost your immunity

This is your body’s chance of fighting illnesses. Scale up the quality of your food, stay well hydrated all day, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables—these are rich in vitamins and minerals, avoid stress as much as you can or find better ways to cope with your stress.

Wash your hands with soap and running water frequently.

Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and running water is not available. Attach a timeline to this probably 6 times a day, once every 2 hours, whatever works for you

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

It doesn’t matter how clean your hands may look. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

Cough or sneeze in your flexed elbow

If you have to cough or sneeze, do so in your flexed elbow or use a disposable tissue then discard immediately and wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer.

Do not get too close in distance to people.

Try not to get too close in distance to people, especially those showing signs of illness such as fever, cough, and difficulty with breathing. This illness causes symptoms of respiratory illness and recent studies have shown that digestive symptoms are also common, such as fever, cough, and difficulty with breathing and could occur in the absence of respiratory symptoms.

Stay at home if you feel unwell.

Stay at home if you feel unwell. Call your hospital in advance. This would help your hospital prepare. If you have fever, cough, difficulty with breathing, or other symptoms, seek medical care early. There are options of talking to a doctor while you’re at home or wherever you are.

Stay informed through trusted information outlets
